Testing comes after a student has prepared diligently and rigorously. While you can find the requirements below, it is important for the student to work with someone of higher rank than them to prepare, and to be confident in their abilities before signing up to take a test.

While we offer special test-prep classes, if you would like to inquire about private lessons before your test, please contact Steve Sensei and he will pair you with an appropriate instructor. There are additional fees for private lessons, paid directly to the instructor.

Once testing dates are announced, you can submit your application and pay your fee.
